Renewed Appeal For Info Nearly One Year After Bates Barn Fire

It’s been nearly a year since Bates Barn burned to the ground and the Mounties have issued a renewed call for help to figure out who is responsible.

The building on Route 850 in Long Point went up in flames in the early morning hours of February 15 last year and police say someone set fire the venue. A car was spotted leaving the area at the time and police want the public’s help identifying the car and the person driving it.

If you don’t want to give your name and you have information you’re asked to contact Crime Stoppers, which will pay up to $2000 for info that leads to the arrest of the person or people responsible for this.
