Only a portion of the remaining renovation work at the Renforth Wharf will be finished this year. Rothesay town council has turned down the only bid for a construction tender because the cost was too high. Fundy Engineering offered to do the job for 358 thousand dollars.
Instead, council is re-tendering a portion of the project–the concrete deck–with hopes to finish the redi rock wall at a later date.
