Restaurant In Rothesay Closed After Food Inspection

The licence of a restaurant in Rothesay has been suspended after a food inspection by the province.

The China Coast Restuarant on Hampton Road will have to reapply in order to reopen after a number of infractions were discovered during the inspection.

They include rodent droppings throughout the kitchen, a mousetrap on the handwash sink, rice at room temperature, damaged food containers which carry the risk of cross contamination and the table where food is prepared being used as a bed.
