East Saint John will smell really good in the middle of June thanks to a new event.
The Loyalist City Ribfest will take over Exhibition Park from June 11th to the 14th.
It’s being hosted by the Saint John Y’s Men’s Club.
Peter Wilkins says the Maritimes is now part of the competitive rib cooking circuit that has been active in Ontario for many years and in the US.
He says they were in Fredericton and Moncton last year and this year they have added Saint John and Miramichi.
The event also features live music, a beer garden and Rhoda’s Summer Sale.
