Even with a big winter storm hitting us this week the provincial Emergency Measures Organization wants you to start thinking about the potential for spring flooding. The forecast model so far shows a similar flooding pattern to last year but with several heavy rainfall events or a rapid melt of the snow pack in the northern part of the province that could all change.
