Major Crime is investigating a robbery that occurred yesterday afternoon shortly after 3:30 outside the Bank of Nova Scotia on Main Street West.
A 79 year old woman was pushed to the ground and her purse stolen as she left the ATM. She suffered minor injuries to her forehead and arm and was treated at the Regional Hospital.
Witnesses gave police a description of the robber and his vehicle which was later seen on Main Street North.
A 41 year old man was arrested for robbery.
