Rothesay Residents’ Will Have Their Opinions Heard Regarding Local Developments

Matt Alexander announcing he will be running for re-election to Rothesay Council, saying there’s still work to be done which includes a new arena.

The project is being held up because of uncertainty over provincial funding.

The town also wants to find out what people want to see on the land between Riverside and Rothesay-Netherwood.

Alexander says “it’s a lot of land” and thinks it would be a great place for new residential development.

He also wants to know what sort of development the townspeople want to see on Millenium Drive.

A proposal for a Wal Mart a few years ago sparked so much opposition, the idea was dropped.
