Saint John police took one man into custody after a robbery on the east side Sunday.
An employee told officers a man brought a weapon into a convenience store on Bayside Drive just after 11 p.m.
The man demanded cash and cigarettes before running from the store.
Officers found a suspect while searching the area nearby.
Police say there is no word yet on charges or a court date.
