A breakin was reported at Thandis Restaurant on Canterbury Street early this morning. Among the items stolen was a safe. Major Crime is investigating.
A woman on Boyd Street told police her former husband threatened her and then she was sent a text of what looked like a handgun. A 37 year old man was arrested and is looking at charges of making threats and possession of a weapon.
