Safer Internet Day Celebrated On Tuesday

People and organizations are joining forces to make the online world a safer place for young people.

Tuesday is Safer Internet Day across Canada and around the globe.

This year’s slogan, “Together for a better internet”, recognizes that everyone has a role to play in helping to keep kids safe online.

The community-led initiative started in Europe in 2004 and is now celebrated in around 150 countries worldwide.

It takes place on the second day of the second week of the second month each year.
