Saint John Airport Under Boil Water Order

The Saint John Airport is under a boil water order.

A release from the airport says the airport’s water supply comes from Robertson Lake and regular monitoring showed higher levels of turbidity, or cloudiness, in late October.

The provincial Health department put a boil water order in place because higher levels of turbidity can interfere with how effective the treatment process is.

The airport says bottled water is available and signs have been posted so that travelers are made aware of the boil water order.
