Saint John Holds Out Hope For Provincial Funding

Saint John council remains optimistic that provincial capital projects will be slated for the city.

The province unveiled a $599.2-million budget Tuesday with estimates announced in four priority areas.

No specifics have been given yet but there is hope investments will be given to Saint John to help improve education, infrastructure, and health care.

Mayor Don Darling says they remain hopeful that significant investments will be made toward the city.

Darling adds the city will continue to advocate for catalytic investments in the community.
