The Saint John Learning Exchange celebrating its 30th anniversary tomorrow with the unveiling of a new mural and by sprucing up a garden in the Waterloo Village.
Executive Director Christina Fowler tells CHSJ News they provide education and employment programs.
She says they focus on things through a poverty reduction lens about to have innovative education and employment programs which includes workplace essential skills, GED preparation and upgrading.
A healthy BBQ with food from the Learning Exchange’s own Stone Soup catering begins at 11:30 at the back of the Brunswick Drive highrise.
The mural by Nate Guimond will be unveiled at 12:30 and community partners will be working all day on beautifying the By the Grace of God garden on Richmond Street.
