Saint John Man Injured In February Fire Leaves Hospital

A Saint John man seriously hurt in a fire several weeks ago has been released from the hospital.

The man in his 60s was found unconscious and he also suffered smoke inhalation and serious burns in the February 5th fire at 250 Waterloo Street.

His apartment was gutted in the blaze so Red Cross volunteers are helping him out with somewhere to stay for now and with meals, clothing and other essential items.

The man’s daughter is trying to find him an apartment in a senior’s complex.

The fire forced six people from their apartments and two other tenants were treated because of this blaze.
