Recently, Krista has been delighted to see amazing photos of Saint John popping up in her feed. This weekend, she reached out to Andrew Miller to compliment him on his extraordinary photos and ask permission to share some of them here on the community portal.
Not only are Andrew’s pictures breathtaking, so are the descriptions that he posts with them. Proud to be a lifelong advocate of Saint John, it’s easy to see this reflected in what he shares – visually and verbally.
From January 10, 2026:
Starting the day with a deep breath of gratitude ![]()

This morning’s sunrise over the Courtenay Bay Terminal painted the sky in the softest pinks, golds, and blues as a quiet reminder that every new day brings its own kind of magic, even in a part of our hardworking port.
The cranes standing tall, the ships ready for whatever comes next, the water reflecting that first light… it’s all part of what makes Saint John feel so alive and resilient. In the chill of January, this view warms the soul and whispers that brighter moments are always on the horizon.
Here’s to embracing the new day, to the strength of our community, and to the simple beauty that greets us right here at home.
Wishing you all a peaceful, hopeful morning. ![]()
