Saint John police conduct vehicle safety campaign

Saint John police will be out in force throughout the day on Wednesday.

Officers are conducting a one-day traffic campaign related to vehicle safety.

Police said there will be checkpoints and roaming patrols at various locations throughout the day.

Officers are focused on raising awareness about the importance of vehicle maintenance and safety.

Inspections may include checks for valid registration, working lights and signals, tire conditions, and brakes.
