Saint John police make arrest in restaurant break-in

Saint John police have made an arrest in a months-long break and enter investigation.

Investigators responded to an uptown restaurant on Prince William Street on Oct. 23.

“An unknown man broke into the location during the night and had rummaged through multiple areas and had taken some items from the business,” police said in a news release.

A 33-year-old man was taken into custody on Thursday following “recent developments” in the case, said police.

The accused was later released on an undertaking and is due to appear in court in August.
