Saint John Police Seek Part-Time Constables

The Saint John Police Force could be adding part-time constables to augment its staffing.

An expression of interest for candidates was posted by the police force last week.

Part-time constables would work up to 20 hours a week on an “as needed” basis, according to the posting.

They would be scheduled to work special events and cover summer vacation, among other things.

Applicants must have served as a police officer within the last three years in Canada and have been in good standing with their police service.

In addition, they must also meet the minimum policing requirements for the province of New Brunswick.

More details can be found on the Saint John Police Force’s website.
