Saint John police seize drugs, sawed-off shotgun

Saint John police have made two arrests following a two-month drug trafficking investigation.

The two individuals were taken into custody without incident on Friday, according to police.

Officers searched a Saint John residence following the arrested and seized the following:

  • .410 shotgun with sawed-off barrel
  • ammunition
  • multiple edged weapons
  • three replica firearms
  • 81.44 grams of fentanyl with a street value of $16,288
  • .56 grams of crystal meth with a street value of $50
  • 112 hydromorphone contin four-milligram pills with a street value of $1,120
  • scales
  • Canadian currency
  • drug paraphernalia

The two accused were scheduled to appear in court on Monday for a bail hearing.
