It was a great day on Friday for Port Saint John with the arrival of a new global container line. CEO Jim Quinn says CMA-CGM will be making weekly stops every Friday, it is great to have the 3rd largest global container line coming here. Quinn says the Cagema service will be a boon with all the spinoff jobs connected to the Port. He says more hours will be needed for pilots, tug operators, longshoremen, stevedores and truckers. Quinn says CMA-CGM has now have extended service to go from Kingston, Jamaica , their hub, to Saint John, which is now the first port of call.
