This year, Krista has been delighted to see amazing photos of Saint John popping up in her feed. Earlier in 2026, she reached out to Andrew Miller to compliment him on his extraordinary photos and ask permission to share some of them here on the community portal.
Not only are Andrew’s pictures breathtaking, so are the descriptions that he posts with them. Proud to be a lifelong advocate of Saint John, it’s easy to see this reflected in what he shares – visually and verbally.
From May 14, 2026:
I took this photo a few years ago, but lately it’s felt less like a picture of crossroads and more like a reminder of possibility.
Life has a way of putting bends in the track. You don’t always see the full route ahead, and sometimes the turns feel sharper than expected. But every curve also opens the door to something new. New people, new opportunities, new perspectives, and new reasons to keep moving forward.
What I love most about this shot is that the skyline is still there in the distance. Steady. Waiting. A reminder that even when the path changes, the destination doesn’t disappear.
The past few days have left me feeling tired in some moments, grateful in others, but mostly hopeful. Hopeful for what’s ahead, for the conversations still to come, and for the chance to keep building something meaningful one step at a time.
Sometimes progress isn’t a straight line. Sometimes it’s simply having the courage to stay on the track and trust where it’s leading.
Here’s to the next chapter, the people beside us along the way, and the view waiting around the next bend.
