Recently, Krista has been delighted to see amazing photos of Saint John popping up in her feed. Earlier in January, she reached out to Andrew Miller to compliment him on his extraordinary photos and ask permission to share some of them here on the community portal.
Not only are Andrew’s pictures breathtaking, so are the descriptions that he posts with them. Proud to be a lifelong advocate of Saint John, it’s easy to see this reflected in what he shares – visually and verbally.
From January 19, 2026:
I took this photo along Harbour Passage, looking out over the water.
A single light standing quiet against a wide horizon.
It’s okay to have a bright appearance just don’t let it distract you from what’s actually being accomplished.
Leadership isn’t about how you look or how much attention you draw. It’s about being steady, useful, and present. About showing up in all weather, guiding the way, and leaving things better than you found them.
Real leadership is measured in outcomes, not optics. In the work that gets done, the people it serves, and the impact that lasts long after the spotlight moves on.

If you love Saint John, I’d highly recommend following Andrew on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/AndrewJosephMiller
