Saint John sets daytime parking limits for snow work

Daytime parking restrictions will be in place as the City of Saint John continues clearing snow from recent weather.

The city said there will be no on‑street parking from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday:

  • Lancaster Street between Duke Street West and Guilford Street
  • Duke Street West between Watson Street and Market Place
  • Guilford Street between Market Place and City Line

The city added that the same restriction will apply on Friday on Prince Street West.

Temporary no‑parking signs will be posted at least eight hours before work begins.

Vehicles left on the street during the restriction may be fined and could be towed to allow crews to complete snow‑clearing operations.

Snow removal will continue Friday on the 1 Mile Overpass, Crown Street Overpass, and the Via Duct, according to the city.

Drivers are being advised to expect delays in those areas.
