Saint John Transit Delayed

Saint John Transit is delaying the start of its service Monday due to weather conditions.

The transit agency announced the delay in a post on Twitter shortly after 5 a.m.

It said transit buses are now expected to hit the roads at 9 a.m. Monday.

Comex routes will not operate in the morning. The service will resume in the afternoon.

More than 15 centimetres of snow fell throughout Greater Saint John on Sunday night. Environment Canada is calling for another five to 10 centimetres on Monday morning.
