Saint John Unveils New Resident Guide

New residents of Saint John have a fresh way to learn more about the city and what it has to offer.

The city has unveiled a New Resident Guide, which is available in-person at several locations.

It is described by the city as a “one-stop guide to help new residents live, work and play in the city.”

The guide has information for new residents from abroad and people moving from within the country or province.

It includes information on housing, employment, healthcare, education, communications, activities, shopping and engaging the community, just to name a few.

City officials say the guide was created through extensive research and interviews with newcomers and those who work with them.

Printed copies are available at City Hall, settlement agencies, University of New Brunswick, New Brunswick Community College, school districts and as requested.
