Saint John’s ConnexionWorks receives $545K in funding

A Saint John organization that helps supports entrepreneurs is getting a big financial boost.

ConnexionWorks is receiving more than $545,000 in federal funding through the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency.

Officials said the money will be used for the organization’s Premier Entrepreneurship Program over the next two years.

Early-stage entrepreneurs will be given the training, resources and networking needed to launch their businesses.

The organization will also work with strategic academic and business partners to promote a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation, with the goal of boosting the number of new businesses in the region.

Founded in 2015, ConnexionWorks is a not-for-profit focused on providing an inclusive and collaborative environment to support the success of entrepreneurs and businesses in Greater Saint John.
