In the NHL:

Ottawa fell to Columbus 3-0, Calgary got past Anaheim 2-1, and Winnipeg doubled up Vegas 6-3.

New Brunswick has earned its third medal — a bronze — at the Canada Winter Games.

The men’s short-track 3,000-metre team placed third in the single-A final after British Columbia was disqualified for an illegal relay in the four-team final.

The ringette team finished in fifth place overall while the men’s hockey team finished in eighth.

The Final 12 high school basketball championships have begun at Harbour Station.

Harvey downed Hartland 63-44 to take the A girls final, while in the A boys final, Hartland beat McAdam 58-51.

In the NBA:

Kawhi Leonard had a game-high 25 points as the Raptors got past San Antonio 120-117.
