Sea Dogs Complete 5 Trades On Sunday

The Saint John Sea Dogs have sent goalie Alex D’Orio to Baie-Comeau.

It was one of five trades Saint John made on Sunday — the final day of trading for the 2018-19 season.

In return, they will get a 12th-round draft pick in 2019 and a first-round pick in 2020.

Sea Dogs centre Shane Bowers has been traded to Drummondville in exchange for Ryan Leonard and Max Sauvé.

The Sea Dogs gained goalie Zachary Bouthillier from Chicoutimi in exchange for a second-round pick in 2020 and a fourth-round pick in 2021.

In a trade with Rimouski, Saint John will get right winger Alexis Belisle in exchange for a fifth-round and sixth-round draft pick in 2021.

The Sea Dogs also reached a deal with Acadie-Bathurst to trade a second-round pick in 2020 for a second-round pick in 2019.
