Sea Dogs open QMJHL pre-season Tuesday

It is the time of year local hockey fans have been waiting months for.

Quebec Major Junior Hockey League pre-season action begins Tuesday.

The Saint John Sea Dogs are gearing up to host the Charlottetown Islanders.

Puck drop at TD Station in Saint John is at 7 p.m.

Saint John will play a total of six pre-season games over the next four weeks.

That includes four games against Charlottetown and two against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.

Regular season action for the Sea Dogs begins Friday, Sept. 22, against the Titan in Bathurst.

The two teams will then head to Saint John for a game the following night.
