A Saint John Sea Dogs player is listed on NHL Central Scouting’s midterm ranking of the top prospects for the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.
Defenceman Radim Salda is ranked 53rd among the top 217 North American skaters.
The 18-year-old from the Czech Republic has eight goals and 21 assists for 29 points in his first year with the Sea Dogs.
He leads all Quebec Major Junior Hockey League rookie defencemen in assists and points and is tied for first in goals.
The 2018 NHL Entry Draft will be held June 22nd and 23rd in Dallas, Texas.
