The Saint John Sea Dogs were eliminated from the QMJHL playoffs on Friday night.
Saint John fell to the Gatineau Olympiques 6-1 in game five of the first-round series.
Gatineau won the best-of-seven series 4-1 and will advance to the league quarter-finals.
Eriks Mateiko had Saint John’s lone goal while Ventsislav Shingarov made 43 saves for the Sea Dogs.
