Search Continues For N.B. Soldier In Ontario

UPDATE: The body of Pte. Michael Beaman was found in the water in Kingston, Ont., on Jan. 29, 2020.


A police dive team is now involved in the search for a Saint John soldier missing in Ontario.

Pte. Michal Beaman was last seen at a bar in downtown Kingston just before midnight Friday night.

Officials at CFB Kingston said he has not been heard from since and they are concerned for his safety.

Beaman, originally from Moncton, is part of a reserve unit with the military based out of Saint John. He was in Kingston for training.
