The second Presidential debate between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton got off the a fiery start early on. Trump was asked about the 11 year old footage from Access Hollywood about whether he groped women.
Trump said he had not and called his comments locker room talk about which he was embarrassed by and not proud. Trump accused Bill Clinton of being far more abusive to women after earlier appearing at a photo-op with Juanita Brodderick who claims she was raped by Clinton.
Clinton says there’s plenty of evidence beyond the footage released on Friday about how Trump views women. She claims, taking collectively, it shows who he is.
Trump told Clinton, if elected, he would order an investigation by a special prosecutor into the destruction of 33 thousand of her emails when she was Secretary of State.
Clinton was asked whether it was two faced to tell people on Wall Street that you have a public position and a private position as revealed by Wikileaks. She replied it was said in reference to the movie about Abraham Lincoln and how he tried to get the U.S. Congress to abolish slavery. Trump scoffed at that explanation, arguing she got caught in a lie and is now blaming “Honest Abe”.
