RCMP says a second woman has died as the result of a collision on Route 425 in Northern New Brunswick.
Two vehicles collided head on in August, when a car crossed the centre line.
A 78-year-old woman from the Metepenagiag First Nation passed away on Monday.
Police say a 72-year-old from the same area, died in hospital six days after the crash.
A 38-year-old woman from Miramichi, who was driving the other vehicle, remains in hospital.
