Second Woman Dies After Two Vehicle Collision In Havelock

An 81-year-old Dieppe woman has died after a crash last week on the Trans-Canada Highway in Havelock.

RCMP say the woman was injured in the collision between a tractor-trailer and car on February 11th.

She passed away in hospital earlier this week.

An 80-year-old woman also died at the scene.

Police say it’s believed the truck attempted to change lanes and collided with the vehicle.

A 63-year-old man from Shediac Bridge, who was driving the tractor-trailer, suffered what are believed to be minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.
