For local baseball fans, the Saint John Alpines will hit the field again next month.
The schedule for the New Brunswick Senior Baseball League has been released.
President Tom O’Reilly says this year’s season will operate with four teams: the Alpines, Chatham Ironmen, Moncton Fishercats and Charlottetown Islanders.
It will be a 24-game season. The Alpines first game will be May 22 as they host Charlottetown.
The regular season will conclude on Aug. 14 with playoffs to begin one week later.
