One man in hospital with serious injuries after a fall at long wharf around 11 o’clock last night

District Fire Chief Joe Armstrong says two men were climbing down a ladder at the lobster boat dock when one slipped and fell onto the other, sending them into the low tide.

A third man called 911 and police, fire crews, and the Coast Guard were on the scene for about an hour and a half.

Armstrong could not confirm whether the men were lobster fishermen.
