Several Guns Stolen During Break In Near Miramichi

An investigation is underway near Miramichi after several guns and other items were stolen from a home.

Sunny Corner RCMP are search for one or more suspects who broke into the home west of Miramichi sometime between August 1st and the 7th.

Five handguns were stolen:

  • Browning Model 1910, Semi-automatic, 7.66 calibre, 9 shot
  • Manufacture de Bayonne, Semi-automatic, 7.65 calibre, 9 shot
  • Webley & Scott Model MARK IV, .38 calibre, 6 shot revolver
  • DUSEK DUO, semi-automatic, 6.35 calibre, 6 shot
  • Unique, no model number, semi-automatic, 7.65 calibre, 9 shot

The guns were legally owned and secured in the home.

The three other items stolen were a portable generator, an electric log splitter, and a chain saw.
