Several Injured In Saint John Crashes

Three people were taken to hospital after four separate crashes in Saint John on Friday.

Platoon Chief Michael Carr of the Saint John Fire Department said one person suffered minor injuries after two vehicles collided on Rothesay Avenue around 9:20 a.m.

Carr said there was a two-vehicle crash on Crown Street around 5 p.m. Police said one woman was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.

A few minutes later, police said a vehicle hit a pedestrian at Crown Street and King Street East. The pedestrian was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Carr said there was also a two-vehicle crash at McAllister Drive and Majors Brook Drive around 6:15 p.m. One person was checked over at the scene by paramedics.
