Several Streets Still Impacted By Flooding

Several roads in Saint John continue to be impacted by flooding as of Tuesday morning.

The city said they include Westmorland Road at the Sport Chek entrance, Retail Drive at Oakland Street, and the end of Rothesay Avenue at the train bridge.

Ashburn Lake Road, Rothesay Road at Ashburn Road, Glen Road between Brown Street and Simpson Drive, Brown Street at Glen Road, and Part of Holland Street also continue to be impacted.

“Motorists are advised to drive with caution and care, observe signage and barricades, and avoid flooded areas,” the city said in a news release.

Meanwhile, Saint John Transit said Route 31 will not be providing service to the Glen Falls area until further notice due to flooding. It will only be servicing the Mystery Lake and Reading Crescent areas.

Routes 1A and 1B, which were impacted by flooding on Monday, have returned to their regular routes.
