Simonds High student Min Ji Kim has been awarded a $60,000 scholarship to further her studies in the field of Sciences at UNBSJ.
Min Ji is one of 50 winners across the country of the prestigious Schulich Leadership Award.
The program was launched in 2012 and funds scholarships valued at more then $100 million to some of Canada’s most highly regarded universities.
Min Ji has been very involved at Simonds High, participating in the choir, student council, Helping Hands and the swim team.
