For the 2025–2026 academic year, several Saint John High School (SJHS) students have already been recognized with prestigious external awards. Internal school scholarships are typically announced later, during the annual graduation awards ceremony in June.

Daniel Li, Fola Akinola, Carson London, and Nima Anvari are four of the seven recipients of the D&R Sobey Atlantic Admission Award, a prestigious scholarship for Atlantic Canadian students entering the Commerce program at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. The award is valued at $120,000, distributed over four years.
Recipients of the following awards are expected to be announced in June 2026:
- Ottis Logue Memorial Scholarship – Traditionally awarded to the Valedictorian
- Eric Ryan Memorial Scholarship – Also traditionally awarded to the Valedictorian
- Dennis R. Knibb Scholarship – Recognizes academic achievement, financial need, and community involvement
- Malcolm Lightfoot Memorial Scholarship – Awarded to a student active in sports who demonstrates strong sportsmanship
- Deborah Barbour Butterfield Memorial Scholarship – Honours leadership in music, student government, and academics
- SJHS Centennial Fund Math Prize – Presented to an outstanding mathematics student
