Slick Roads Reported In Places

Give yourself a bit of extra time if you need to travel anywhere on Tuesday.

Roads are a bit slick in the region as light snow has begun to fall.

“Officers are reporting slippery road conditions. Please drive with caution,” read a tweet from the Saint John Police Force around 6:15 a.m.

The snow will change to rain Tuesday morning, with a risk of freezing rain during the changeover.

Environment Canada said we could see between two and five centimetres of snow, followed by around 10 millimetres of rain.

Rain will switch back to snow on Tuesday evening, bringing another two centimetres or so.
