Slight changes expected for fuel in N.B.

Some mixed changes might be happening at the pumps, according to an industry source.

Regular self-serve gas is expected to increase by 0.5 cents a litre, while diesel is dropping by around 0.5 cents a litre on Thursday night.

Currently, New Brunswickers are paying a maximum of $1.41 per litre for regular self-serve, $1.47 per litre for diesel and $1.36 per litre for home heating oil.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.40 to $1.44 per litre, while diesel sells for between $1.40 and $1.44 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.47 per litre, diesel costs around $1.52 per litre, and home heating oil sells for a maximum of $1.16 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
