New Brunswick drivers are getting a slight break at the fuel pumps across the province.
Fuel prices are down after the weekly setting by the Energy and Utilities Board.
The new maximum price for regular self-serve gasoline is $1.825 per litre, a drop of 0.4 cents.
Diesel fell by just over two cents overnight to a new maximum price of just under $2.22 per litre.
Most local gas stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.
Furnace oil is down by three cents and is now selling for a maximum of just under $2.01 per litre.
The price for propane remains unchanged at a maximum of just over $1.30 per litre.
Meanwhile, Nova Scotia motorists are waking up to a significant increase in diesel prices.
The province’s gas regulator used its interrupter clause to increase the price by 19 cents. It is now selling for between $2.27 and $2.31 per litre.
