A home on Loch Lomond Road in Saint John received minor damage from a fire on Friday.
Platoon chief Kevin Comeau said crews found a small fire in the living room when they arrived.
Comeau told our newsroom they were able to quickly extinguish the flames and prevent them from spreading.
He said no one was hurt and everyone was able to return home shortly after.
