Whether you think webcams in public places are a cool feature to see what’s happening in the city, or an insidious tool of Big Brother, you can now check out live feeds from King Street, Loyalist Plaza, and the City Market on the City of Saint John website.
The cameras are refreshed every 5 seconds and allow a bird’s eye view of the public spaces.
The city has said the cameras aren’t intended as a security measure, but rather as a means for people to see what’s happening in real time in the uptown core.
