More than 18 hundred truckloads of snow were taken from the Waterloo Village area as crews finished up in that part of the city overnight.
Heavy snow removal operations are taking place today in the Old North End, Douglas Avenue, Lower West Side, the East Side and school areas.
Crews have thus far been able to clear close to half of the 21 school zones.
We’re told the work will continue round the clock over the next several days.
