UPDATED: Snowfall Leads To Slick Roads, Collisions

**Updated at 6:43 a.m. Friday**

Roads are a bit slick Friday morning throughout Greater Saint John thanks to Thursday night’s snowfall.

Environment Canada says the Saint John Airport reported nearly four centimetres of snow as of early Friday.

Most main streets in the city are mainly clear as of 5 a.m. Friday though you will still find snow-packed conditions on some side streets.

Route 1 is reported to be partly snow-covered in places with slushy patches in others. Route 7 is also partly snow-covered from Saint John to Finnegan Hill.

You can find the latest provincial highway conditions through New Brunswick 511.

A number of collisions were reported throughout the region during Thursday afternoon’s commute.
