Soccer field at Hampton school vandalized: RCMP

Mounties are investigating after a soccer field at a Hampton school was significantly damaged over the weekend.

Investigators say a vehicle drove onto the field at the Elizabeth Avenue school around 10:15 p.m. Saturday.

Police believe the vehicle involved was a large pickup truck with a loud muffler and lights on the roof.

The passenger-side tail light of the truck may also be damaged, according to investigators.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Hampton RCMP at 506-832-5566 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
